Imperial Knight Titan - Legion Audax Auxcillary Part #2

Some progress on the Legio Audax Knight Titan. Interestingly  Titans are pretty easy to paint, but because they're so big, they kinda become too large and unwieldy. Now Audax is know for its firey paint scheme, so I am going to try something with this guy, by adding a crackle layer over the fire blend. As you can see the bases is almost complete, and I even got a little time to work on the carapace, adding some scorch marks to break up the monotony. More to come.

Work continues on the base of the Knight Titan. It may look a little busy, at present, but that will even out once paint goes down. Each side of the base has little scenes of desperate defense, only for the grim dark reality of a Legio Audax Knight to stride over their corpses. Time to wash the legs and start putting down paint. More to come on this one, folks.

These ones are from the Russian outfit, Soul Dark . I still need to add the toes. But before I do that, I have to work out how to finish off the base. Add the horns from a Blood Thirster and kit bash the visor armor. I also snaffled a tilt shield, on eBay, from the Forgeworld Chaos Knight kit.   Adding a shoulder plate from the Lord of Skulls kit. Securing it to the Knight Pauldron, I hid the pins under some green stuff and piled on skulls from Secret Weapon Sack O' Skulls. I also pinned the other Pauldron, in a similar manner, hiding the pins with skulls. I also added some chains from a Dark Eldar Wrack kit. Mor...
