Sprue Whispering

It was a long journey, but we finally got there. Here is the VI Legion Vlka Fenryka Contemptor Mortis Dreadnought.   What do you think?

I was watching a Mig 'Ammo' Jimenez video about Filters and Streaking Grime . So I thought I would try the technique out. This is how it turned out. Not bad for a first attempt. I still need to add some chipping and more rust effects.

Some progress on the VI Legion Mortis Contemptor. I scrapped the right shoulder pauldron and dunked that in some Simple Green. Did I mention, my pot of Simple Green is getting pretty full? Anyways, I got around to some detailing on the leg.    Yup, this  is the shoulder that just doesn't seemed to quite fit. More to come.

I started knocking back the extremity of some of my pre-weathering. I have to go in and start finishing off the detail work.

Whilst I was painting the Leviathan, I thought it might be useful to dust off a Contemptor Mortis Dreadnought and paint it up in the colors of the VI Legion, at the same time. This is progress so far. Starting with the bare resin miniature. Base colors and Sepia ink washing done. I have to go back in and begin highlighting, do some bluing on the Kheres Assault Cannons and exhaust stacks. A few more hours still left on this one. I might have to add some more detailing to the base, too.
